Congwong Bay
This website is an initiative of individuals within the La Perouse Headland Coastcare Alliance. Community groups which comprise the alliance include the La Perouse Precinct Committee and Kooloora Community Centre. Supporting youth groups include 1st Little Bay Scout Group and La Perouse Explorers. Supporting organisations include the Department of Primary Industries Fishcare Volunteers; Sydney Water Streamwatch; CSIRO Double Helix Club.

The volunteering that members undertake – such as water quality testing, bush regeneration, cleanups and tours – is fully suported by the landholders: Department of Environment and Climate Change and Randwick City Council and by local representatives: our Federal Member and Australia’s Minister for the Environment and The Arts, Mr Peter Garrett, our State Member and Minister for Roads, Mr Michael Daley, and our local councillors – Alan White, Robert Belleli.
